Romanian doctor

In the history of world science, the work “The Consonant Psychology”, elaborated by the Romanian scientist Stefan Odobleja and published in French, in Lugoj, in the years 1938-1939, occupies a special position. In this paper, is exposed, for the first time the cybernetic idea of consonant concept that is what we call today positive reaction. Stephen Odobleja had the intention to organize psychology around the concept of consonant, and the desire to reduce the psychic to physics. He writes clearly that science will begin to create ideas in laboratory.
Born in 1902, in the village of Izvorul Aneştilor, Mehedinţi County, Ştefan Odobleja, after high school graduation in Lyceum “Traian”, Turnu Severin, was scholarship student in Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest, became doctor of medicine and surgery in 1928, with a thesis on car accidents, then a topical issue.
During the years 1928-1946 he was a military doctor working in various garrisons and had scientific concerns about his profession, publishing papers on the investigation of patients with chest transonic (1929). He published in Paris in 1935, a work on phonoscope - this latter work was awarded with the prize granted to the best works of military medicine.
But his fundamental work remains “The Consonant Psychology”, which is not only a work of psychology, but one of scientific thinking, as it is a philosophical presentation of mental processes and science. In it the author seeks to establish a number of general laws that apply to all areas, all sciences, from living/non living world as well as science, psychology and social and economic phenomena. The highlighted law in this paper is the reversibility law. Ştefan Odobleja defines life "by reversibility: life is a vicious circle of mutual actions and reactions. Life is a complex reversibility of physical-chemical phenomena, a reversible couple of actions and reactions, a complex phenomenon, where each phenomenon is partly successively, when cause, when effect".
All these statements prove penetration power of Odobleja’s thought who sees in this chain of cause and effect, the general principle of all phenomena we encounter.
"The second half of century XX is marked by the concepts of cybernetics, due to Norbert Wiener's, but behind him stand, as in any field of knowledge, many scientists, including Stephen Odobleja, who represents one of the brightest moments" (M . Draganescu, P. Golu).
