Italian Engineer, Officer of the Naval Engineers Corp of the Royal Italian Navy. Designer of several warship among which the first italian dreadnought: the Dante Alighieri. Senator of the Italian Kingdom of Italy.

1897 Designed the cruiser class Garibaldi, that were also sold to Argentinian, Spaish e Japanese Navies.
1908 Designed the first Italian dreadnought.
1908 Great Officier of the Order of knighthood of the Crown of Italy.
1910 Senator of the Italian Kingdom.
† 12.05.1910 Roma died
