Tomás de Zubiría e Ibarra was born in Bilbao on July 28th in 1857. He studied Engineering at the School of Engineering of Lieja, Belgium. In 1882, The Ibarra family created the Altos hornos y Fábrica de Hierro y Acero de Bilbao, an important steel factory in Spain. Beside the steel factory, Tomás Ibarra created several industrial companies. He died on September 21st in 1932.
