Macchi, Giulio (1866 - 1935)


 
Founder

Giulio Macchi was an italian entrepreneur. He founded with his brothers Giuseppe and Enrico the company from which then was born the Aermacchi. Aermacchi was an Italian aircraft manufacturer. Formerly known as Aeronautica Macchi, the company was specialised in civil and military pilot training aircraft Today Aermacchi is integrated into the Finmeccanica Group as Alenia Aermacchi, which increased its shareholding to 99%
