Liebmann, Heinrich (1874 - 1939)

Deutscher Mathematiker

Liebmann dealt with differential geometry and non euclidian geometry. He found the constructoin of a triangle of its three angles with a circle and a ruler in the hyperbolician geometry. In his habilitation thesis he gave an evidence that a convex closed area cannot be bent ( Minding's sentence).
