An illustration of the utility of the "gadget" for a variety of purposes may
be gained from Fig. 310, and shows the unloading of a barge on to the
" gadget" by which the cases are pushed up an incline which may be 200 ft. long, or it may be merely long enough for the cases to arrive at a level from hich they will gravitate to their destination. From Fig. 305 the utilisation of the "gadget" as a stacker will be seen.
