Piston rod 5 of retracting cylinder 4 is connected by turning pairs B to links 2 and 3. Cylinder 4 turns about fixed axis E of the aircraft frame. When piston rod 5 moves into retracting cylinder 4, link 1 is turned clockwise and link 3 counterclockwise, and the landing gear is retracted as shown by the dash lines.
