                    The displacement of slider 1 from its right-hand extreme (dead- centre) position is s=sqrt((A͞B+B͞C)²-a²)-A͞Bcos(α)-B͞C*sqrt(1-((A͞Bsin(α)+a)/B͞C)²). The velocity of point C is v_c=v_b[sin(α)+((cos(α)*(A͞B*sin(α)+a))/(B͞C*sqrt(1-((A͞B*sin(α)+a)/B͞C)²)))] where v_b = velocity of point B of crank 2; a = offset; α = angle of rotation of crank 2. The full stroke of slider 1 equals S=sqrt((B͞C+A͞B)²-a²)-sqrt((B͞C-A͞B)²-a²).  |
