Link 6 is connected by turning pairs E and F to lever 3 and to rocker arm 4 which turn about fixed axes C and G. When driving pinion 1 rotates at uniform velocity, oscillating motion is transmitted to rocker arm 4 with different average velocities of the forward and return strokes.
