Description
Links 1 and 3 turn about fixed axes A and B, and have identical gear segments a which mesh together. Links 1 and 3 are connected by turning pairs C and D to links 4 and 5 which, in turn, are connected by turning pairs E and F to link 2. Links 4 and 5 have identical gear segments b which mesh together. The lengths of the links comply with the conditions: A͞C=B͞D and C͞E=D͞F. When link 1 is turned, link 2 has translational motion along axis y-y. |
