Description

Located on the surfaces of truncated cones 1 and 2, rotating about fixed axes A and B, are series of teeth whose pitch curves project as identical logarithmic spirals on the plane of the drawing. When cone 1 is rotated at constant velocity counterclockwise, the angular velocity of cone 2 decreases gradually.
