Driver 1 oscillates about fixed axis A and carries roller 3 which rolls and slides along helical groove a of cam 2. Cam 2 oscillates about fixed axis B-B. Transmission of oscillation from driver 1 to cam 2 is possible only with a sufficiently large helix angle or groove a. A full cycle corresponds to two revolutions of cam 2 in one direction and two revolutions in the other direction. The mechanism can be employed for switching over motion.
