The double-breasted, three-piece ball slewing ring is composed of the nose, supporting and retaining ring. Rings in the ball raceways are incorporated, which are induction hardened. The bearing rings are formed and each arranged to include two rows of balls. This heavy design takes up high tilting moments, with the resultant can GOATS far outside the ball and running circle l (see figure).
