Description
In the Figure, a meridian section of a Föttinger gear can be seen. The three parts - the pump, turbine and distributor - have received their labels, and at the three points I, II and III of the pulses occur on one system to another. Within the three parts of the transmission pulse is deflected by Beschauflung indicated. A vector diagram showing u the actual peripheral speed, with c the actual absolute velocity of the flow and w is the real relative velocity between the working fluid and wheel Furthermore, s to see ind the meridian components Cm of the actual absolute speed and with Cu, the circumferential component of the real absolute velocity.
