Structure of mechanism

Function The mechanism contains an inverted crank connected in series with a slider crank. The mechanism transforms the rotation movement of the crank into translation movement of the slider. The stroke of the slider depends on the geometric dimensions of the linkage.
Comment The following variations of the geometrical dimensions were used to generate the linked videos and animations:
Variant 1: x = -20 mm, y = 50 mm, x1 = -15 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 22.5 mm, l´3 = 7.5 mm, l4 = 35 mm
Variant 2: x = -20 mm, y = 50 mm, x1 = -10 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 22.5 mm, l´3 = 7.5 mm, l4 = 35 mm
Variant 3: x = -20 mm, y = 50 mm, x1 = -40 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 22.5 mm, l´3 = 7.5 mm, l4 = 35 mm
Variant 4: x = -20 mm, y = 50 mm, x1 = -50 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 22.5 mm, l´3 = 7.5 mm, l4 = 35 mm
Variant 5: x = -25 mm, y = 65 mm, x1 = 0 mm, l1 = 30 mm, l3 = 18 mm, l´3 = 27 mm, l4 = 40 mm
Variant 6: x = -25 mm, y = 65 mm, x1 = -25 mm, l1 = 30 mm, l3 = 18 mm, l´3 = 27 mm, l4 = 40 mm
Variant 7: x = -25 mm, y = 65 mm, x1 = -50 mm, l1 = 30 mm, l3 = 18 mm, l´3 = 27 mm, l4 = 40 mm
Variant 8: x = -30 mm, y = 70 mm, x1 = -45 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 25 mm, l´3 = 25 mm, l4 = 50 mm
Variant 9: x = -30 mm, y = 70 mm, x1 = -25 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 25 mm, l´3 = 25 mm, l4 = 50 mm
