Quaife limited slip differential is a differential developed for use in automotive, sports and all terrain. This differential can solve the problem of loss of torque on one wheel when the other wheel has loose grip, which is in the conventional differential. This problem is solved by using a double gear train pinion gears with helical set of teeth and axes parallel that distribute torque between the two outputs of the system. |
