Structure of mechanism
Function This monocular microscope has two lenses (one lens is missing), a sample-holder with grips and mirror located below. Adjustment knobs enable the device to be focused. A cast-iron base gives stability to the device.

Application
Examples of application Le microscope permet l'observation d'objets de petites dimensions. Celui-ci était utilisé pendant les travaux pratiques lors de la formation des futurs enseignants aux Ecoles normales d'Instituteurs et d'Institutrices d'Aurillac (Cantal), actuellement Institut Universitaire de Formation des Maîtres.
