Structure of mechanism
Function	The device is composed of a metal base holding a small cylinder. A glass part is located above, and can be covered by a glass bulb. An illuminated switch turns the device on, and a knob adjusts agitation intensity.

Application
Examples of application	This is a single agitator which was used to study gas exchanges, particularly in algae.
