Function |
The device adds a variable lever to a constant lever of a given suspension. It consists of a pivot, link, situated between the oscillating and the chassis. The pivot rod drives the curved rod and guided by the axes of which are diametrically opposed to the pivot axis. There are thus creating a blind spot at the start of the rotation of the pivot and so create a variable translation of the rod. This device is interresting to prevent commercial vehicles from sinking under heavy loads and reduces the pump effect felt on the rear suspension of an MTB when pedaling. |
