Structure of mechanism |
Function |
The element 2 rotates around a fixed axis A from the fuselage frame of the plane. The element 1 carrying the wheel a gives the couples of rotations B and C with elements 2 and 3. The element 3 rotates around a fixed axis D from the fuselage frame of the plane. The rod 5 of the actuating cylinder of the landing gear 4 constitutes a couple of rotation E with the element 2. The cylinder 4 rotates around a fixed axis F of the fuselage frame of the plane. When the rod 5 comes down in the actuating cylinder 4, elements 1, 2 and 3 revolve in the direction of arrows and the mechanism takes the position indicated in dotted lines, assuring the lifting of the landing gear of the plane. |
