Structure of mechanism |
Function |
The element 1 carrying the wheel "a" turns around a fixed axis of the frame of the plane. The element 2 trains the torque B and C with the element 1 and the rod 4 of the jack of command of the train 3 which is mobile around a fixed axis D of the frame of the plane. The element 2 carries a roller “d” which slides freely in the groove e of the frame of the plane. When the stalk 4 comes down in the cylinder of jack 3, elements 1 and 2 revolve in direction of the arrow and the mechanism takes the position indicated in intermittent lines, so assuring the lifting of the landing gear of the plane. In extreme position, the element 2 makes a commitment by its roller d in the bights of the groove "e", and the jack of command is free from all encumbrances. |
