| Function |
The element 3, which forms at E a torque of rotation with the element 4 turning around the fixed axis F there, articulates at D on the connecting rod 2 of the mechanism slide and crank ABC. When the crank 1 turns, the point D of the connecting rod 2 describes a curve of connecting rod. The element 4 makes a complete tour around the axis F either oscillates around this axis, according to the lengths that we shall have chosen as elements 2, 3 and 4. |
