Structure of mechanism |
Function |
The crank 2 of the four articulated elements mechanism ABCD is connected to the rod 3 which forms a rotational torque with the slider 4.The lengths of the elements of the mechanism satisfy the condition : AB + AD < BC + DC It provides that elements 1 and 2 are, both, cranks. When the crank 1 is in uniform movement, the crank 2 turns at a variable speed, and the slider makes round trips of variable duration. |
