The factory owner Hahn from Schoeneck developed in 1876 a windmill made of metal with adjustable wings, which, when installed on a building, set in high winds from inside the building out from service and thus can be protected from destruction.
By means of a lever the individual blades, which are coupled to one another via a levers, are rotated so that the wind has no resistance and the wheel stands still.
In the same way the speed of the windmill can be adapted to the wind speed by adjusting a certain angle between the wind direction and the blades of the windmill. |
