One end of flexible link 11 is attached at point K to truck 6, and the other end to drum 1. Movable platform 9 is suspended on ropes 3 and 4, which run over pulleys 5 and pulley 10. Ropes 3 and 4 are attached at point A to the base. When drum 1 rotates clockwise, platform 9 has a complex motion, rising and moving to the right. When drum 1 is rotated counterclockwise, platform 9 is lowered and moves to the left.
