Demonstration models made of acrylic glass with electric drive

This collection consists of 47 models that are permanently installed in lighted glass cases in the building of the professorship, accessible to students, staff or visitors. Each model which is driven by an electric motor can be set into motion by a pushbutton. [more]

Models made of acrylic glass for over-head projectors

This comprehensive collection of about 180 models of planar mechanisms is located in the rooms of the professorship and primarily used for teaching. The models are driven manually, designed for use on an over-head projector. [more]

Standing models made of metal and wood on a wooden board with wooden base

Characteristic for these models are a brown-painted wooden base mounted upright on a beige-painted base plate. On this base plate, the colored links are fixed.

The colors of the links mean the following:

  • Red - Input link
  • Blue - Floating link
  • Yellow - Output link
  • Transparent - Frame

Stand models made of wood and metal (vice models)

These models show different kinematic chains which can be mounted on a tripod by a bracket (vice). Thus, different elements can be fixed to the frame.

Standing models made of metal with wooden base

This series consists of plane and spatial mechanisms. Characteristic for these models are a brown-painted wooden base as well as colored links and metal superstructures.

The colors of the links mean the following:

  • Red - Input link
  • Blue - Floating link
  • Yellow - Output link
  • Transparent - Frame
