The mechanism contains an inverted crank connected in series with a slider crank. The mechanism transforms the rotation movement of the crank into translation movement of the slider. The stroke of the slider depends on the geometric dimensions of the linkage. The image shows a scheme of the mechanism, generated with the analysis software KOSIM for the geometrical variant: x = -20 mm, y = 50 mm, x1 = -40 mm, l1 = 20 mm, l3 = 22.5 mm, l´3 = 7.5 mm, l4 = 35 mm.
