Data Privacy Protection Provision

§ 1 General
The collection, processing (includes saving, modifying, transmitting, blocking and deleting) and use of our users’ data shall take place solely in compliance with the applicable legal data protection regulations.

§ 2 Personal data
Personal data is information that identifies a person, such as name, address, date of birth or email address.

In principle, no personal data is collected, processed and/or used through the use of this online offer.

If name, email address or other personal data is collected, processed and used for special offers, then this shall be pointed out to users in appropriate places. The disclosure of this data on the part of the user is done on an expressly voluntary basis.

If personal data is collected, processed and used by the thinkMOTION, the legal data protection regulations shall be complied with.

In particular, the data will be treated confidentially. Transmitting personal data to third parties shall not take place unless the user gives his or her express written consent, or the DMG-Lib is obligated to publish this data, e.g. due to a court order or due to an order by the authorities.

Users have the right to obtain information on their stored personal data free of charge upon request. In addition, they have a right to authorize, block, and delete this personal data according to the legal provisions.

§ 3 Access data
Every time a user accesses a page of our offer, and when a file is retrieved, access data is saved in a log file on the server.

The saved data is analyzed exclusively for statistical purposes. Transmission to third parties shall not occur, neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes.

§ 4 Cookies
A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily placed in the internal memory of the user’s computer (‘session cookie’) or stored on the user’s hard drive (‘permanent’ cookie). Cookies are not used to execute programs or load viruses on the user’s computer. Cookies are assigned solely to the user and his or her computer and can only be read by a domain web server that created these special cookies.

One of the main purposes of cookies is to provide a customized offer for users so that they save time. The task of a cookie is to inform the server that the user is seeking a specific web site again. Cookies allow information that the user last entered to be retrieved again.

The thinkMOTION primarily uses ‘session cookies’, which are not stored on the user’s hard drive. Session cookies are deleted after two hours of inactivity or when the browser is closed.

The user has the option at any time to accept or reject cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. However, users can, as a rule, change their browser settings so that all cookies are rejected, if this is desired. Alternatively, users can if need be set their browsers so that they are warned every time a cookie is to be placed, so that they can selectively accept or reject cookies.
